Saaho (transl. Let victory be yours) is a 2019 Indian action thriller film written and directed by Sujeeth, and produced by UV Creations.The film is shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages and partially reshot in Tamil language. It stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor, marking the former’s debut in Hindi cinema and the latter’s debut in Telugu cinema. Jackie Shroff, Arun Vijay and Neil Nitin Mukesh appear in other prominent roles. The film follows two covert operatives are on hunt for a thief, who has stolen ₹2,000 crore (US$260 million). Soon, they realise that the case is linked to the death of a crime lord and an emerging gang war.

Principal photography for Saaho began in August 2017. Filming took place in India, United Arab Emirates, Romania and Austria. Produced on a budget of ₹350 crore (US$46 million), it is one of the most expensive Indian films ever produced. The film’s soundtrack was released under the banner T-Series. Saaho was released in India in theatres and IMAX on 30 August 2019. The film received mostly negative reviews from critics who criticised the writing, length, editing, screenplay and music, though the cast performances, visuals, cinematography and action sequences received praise. The film grossed over ₹433 crore (US$57 million) at the worldwide box office against its budget of ₹350 crore (US$46 million) and was the second highest-grossing Indian film of the year.
